Hello! My name is Jennifer Sanders Jackson. I am from North Carolina. I have a wonderful husband, Tommy, and we are the proud parents of our beautiful daughter, Danielle Louise! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication from North Carolina Central University, a Master's Degree in Education from Ashford University, and a second Master’s Degree In Education at the University of Phoenix with a concentration in Curriculum & Instruction. I have over 20 years of teaching experience. Here's my story: During the 2020 pandemic, when the world felt uncertain and education was turned upside down, I found my purpose in the hearts and minds of young learners. It all started with online lessons for pre-kindergarten students—small faces on a screen, eager for connection, guidance, and a sense of normalcy in a world that had suddenly changed. What began as a way to help quickly grew into something greater: a calling to serve, teach, and make a lasting impact.   By 2021, the need for more personalized learning became undeniable. Close family and friends, seeing the struggles their children faced, turned to me for support. Their trust and belief in my ability to teach and nurture led to the founding of Tailored Learning LLC and, soon after, Tailored Learning Academy—a homeschool designed to provide students with the structure, encouragement, and individual attention they needed to thrive. From virtual classrooms to in-person instruction, my days became filled with purpose. Mornings and afternoons were dedicated to teaching homeschool students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, tailoring lessons to meet their unique learning styles. Evenings were spent traveling across the community, tutoring students who needed extra support after their school day had ended. Each session, whether online or in person, was more than just an academic lesson—it was an opportunity to build confidence, inspire curiosity, and nurture a love of learning that would carry these students far beyond the classroom.   This journey has been one of resilience, passion, and deep commitment to the success of every child I have the privilege of teaching. What started as a simple effort to help during a time of crisis has grown into a thriving educational community—a place where children are seen, heard, and encouraged to reach their fullest potential. Tailored Learning is more than just a business; it is a labor of love, built on the belief that every child deserves a learning experience as unique and special as they are.
